Sexual assault is a world-wide issue that effects individuals of all genders, races, sexual orientations and socioeconomic status. There are preventative steps that can be taken to help reduce the number of sexual assaults that occur on our college campuses.
Enjoyed your presentation but I must ask what activities or procedures you had for students to do? It was great that you identified what constituents sexual assault, harassment, and stalking. The work place example of feeling harassed and actually proving it was great. People don't realize that if they don't speak up and let others know they are uncomfortable, then they are basically giving consent for the behavior. They must first speak up and let others know they are not comfortable then they are being harassed.
Sabrina, At the beginning of the program, I had participants brainstorm different topics in small groups. For example, one group would right down examples of the acts of stalking and another would write ways you could intervene in a situation that may result in sexual assault. The goal is to discuss what participants thought about these topics before we went over them in the presentation. I ad some difficulty filming my video and that portion of my presentation was not adequately represented. Thanks for the feedback. You always offer great feedback!

Awesome. When you demonstrated your techniques, I would have the audience do it with you. But the beginning you stated above is a great way to start.
